OK, I see my pictures are backward, but that's me all over. Anyway, we just found out that one of our members is heading home. A wildfire in California destroyed his barn, burned the back of the house and destroyed the well. Their area is still evacuated. He just felt he needed to be home for his family. Hopefully things will go better for him. You must be getting all of the rain they usually get here. The weather has been great, and it's usually very raining.

Heh, I'm glad the shave ice sign info came in handy, even though it doesn't sound like the weather is all that bad right now. I just remember it being so hot and humid! (Of course, now that I think about it, I had my 17th birthday in Japan. That means I would have been there in June and July, which might account for the heat!) Anyway, shaved ice saved us on many a day. So, even though your fortunes haven't been the best, it still sounds like you're having good luck!
