I've finished the paperwork!

Well, there is a lot of paper work to complete and everything has a specific date for completion. I think I've finally conquered all that I have been sent so far. I'm sure there will be more to come.

I ordered a new laptop to take on the trip so I can blog on the road. Now I need to seriously start learning some Japanese. I know we'll be with people who will be able to help us, but when we left with time on our own I'd like to be able to do some communicating with people! I've never been very good at languages so this will be a challenge.

Yeah! I'm going to Japan!

I received my letter from JFMF on Monday, March 24. I had been getting pretty worried, because it was almost the end of the month. I was flying when I opened the letter and read, "We are pleased to inform you..." That's as far as got before I started calling people. This is going to be an incredible experience. I've been reading blogs from former JFMF participants, and although experiences varied, the common thread was the appreciation for an incredible experience.

I'm in the process of filling out all of the forms, and I'm trying to make sure I'm not missing any details. Sometimes my excitement can make me work just a bit too quickly.
