What a day! I ended up waking very early and I was supposed to walk with a few people, but it was raining. So I just did some catching up. We listened to speakers who spoke about the government and education. Surprisingly enough, they have some of the same concerns about education as we do. Then we went to the game. The Seibu Lions played the Hanshin Tigers. The Lions won! I am going to insert a video. This happened twice during the game. Once for each side. Of course, I need to list my food. Although there was a wide variety of food, even KENTUCKY CHICKEN (that was for you Joyce), I just had a hot dog, a foamy beverage, Dippin Dots, and fried octopus! Ah yes, baseball food. Tomorrow we have Peace Education sessions and then Kabuki. We're also going to try to find a festival that should be happening close to the hotel. Hopefully we'll find it. Sorry I couldn't edit the video. It's kind of long. You want to especially see the end.

What a great video! So I'm guessing everyone just blew the balloons up, when the song started? How fun is that?! I haven't been to a sporting event in years, but I know in college football, most of the teams seem to have a fight song. I guess that must be their equivalent.
Ooo, and how was the octopus? I don't know that I've ever had it fried like that, but it's generally pretty tasty, cooked. (I'm not much into the raw octopus ... too tough.) And I see you're adding to your gastronomic repertoire of "foamy beverages" of the world! ;)

Good for you for trying octopus! I wouldn't be that brave? Did you see SATC before you left? In it, there's a scene where the girls go to Mexico and Charlotte refuses to eat any of the local food - that would be me!:-)

Looks like the weather is nice, too ... not too hot. Weather is not too great here ... tornado warnings in Waukesha and Fond du Lac.
